On June 3, 2020, the NIH Pain Consortium will convene the 15th Annual NIH Pain Consortium Symposium on Advances in Pain Research via a virtual platform. The symposium: “Technologies for Improved Understanding and Management of Pain," will feature a keynote address by Dr. Sean Mackey, Stanford University. It will also feature a Pain Patient’s Perspective, and expert panel sessions on Technological Advancements in the Assessment and Management of Pain; Innovative Technologies, Translational Developments and Devices to Treat Pain; and Technologies for Understanding Pain Across Populations. In lieu of a poster session, a junior investigator Data Blitz will be showcased as well as a Mitchell Max awardee presentation. Members of the extramural scientific community, the NIH Scientific community, health care providers and the public are invited to attend.
